SNAP - Non-Chocolate
SNAP is a next-generation chocolate alternative developed by the Food Innovation Center spora in Copenhagen. It is among the first bars created entirely without cocoa beans, instead crafted from upcycled spent grain – a by-product of beer brewing –transforming a waste stream into a new, premium food experience.
By removing cocoa from the supply chain, SNAP explores a more sustainable path forward and contributes to addressing some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, including climate impact, deforestation, and child labor.
The result is a product concept designed to be better for both people and the planet, without compromising on taste.
For this project, I created a bar and packaging system for SNAP that feels lively and fun while staying technical and distinctly spora. Across the full flavor range, I established a consistent layout and a color-driven system that makes each variant instantly recognizable while keeping the line cohesive and unified.
